This week’s trailer is a 20-foot 8" Channel Tilt (T7). This trailer features an ultra-low deck height of 24-inches and an inside-fender width of 83-inches. The T7 can be customized to a wide range of lengths ranging from 16 to 40-feet. This trailer is equipped with a stationary deck at the front and a 16-foot, gravity tilting deck at the rear. This tilting feature eliminates the need for pullout ramps. The T7 is ideal for transporting cars and equipment. This T7 is equipped with a 14,000-pound, 2 & 5/16 coupler in an adjustable channel mount and two 10K Pro Series Jacks. These spring-loaded jacks make retraction quick and easy by simply pulling a pin. This trailer is constructed on an 8-inch channel frame with 3-inch channel crossmembers on 16-inch centers, providing more strength and rigidity. The running gear consists of two, low-maintenance 7K Dexter Torsion Axles with 235/80R16 radial tires. This gives the T7 a 14,000-pound GVWR. This T7 is equipped with a 16-foot, gravity tilting deck with a 30-inch, diamond-plate, knife-edge tail. This configuration provides a lower loading-angle and helps with loading low-clearance vehicles and equipment. This deck requires no electronics to operate. It is lowered and lifted with a gravity-assisted, hydraulic-cushioned cylinder.
