This week’s trailer is a custom, 16-foot 10” I-Beam Deckover Dump (DT). This versatile trailer features a full-width, 96-inch dump bed with fold-down sides that make it perfect for side-loading construction supplies or hauling loose material. The DT is built on a robust 10-inch I-beam frame with 3-inch channel cross-members on 16-inch centers. This trailer is equipped with a 25,000-pound, 2 & 5/16 gooseneck coupler but is available in bumper-pull or pintle configurations. It is also equipped with a front-locking toolbox. The 10-gauge steel sides of the DT fold down and make it easy to side-load cargo and palleted materials. The DT is also equipped with an 18-foot tarp kit to assist in keeping debris and other loose items from blowing out in transit. This DT has been upgraded with a 6-inch cylinder that provides extra lifting power for the hydraulic system. The running gear consists of two 7K Dexter axles and provides a GVWR of 15,680 pounds. This trailer is equipped with a two-way spreader gate/barn doors. The 78-inch ramps allow for easier loading of equipment like skid-steers and tractors.
