This week’s trailer is a 26’ 8” Channel Equipment (C8) car hauler. The C8 has a robust 8” channel frame and a low, 27” deck height. This trailer is great for loading and hauling heavy equipment or multiple vehicles. This car hauler has an HD 2 5/16 adjustable coupler in a rigid mount with a premium 7-way, all-weather wiring harness. The C8 is customized with 12,000 lb., 2-speed jacks. This provides maximum lifting power for heavy loads in low gear and quick, easy cranking in high gear. The front of the trailer also has two additional stake pockets to accommodate additional tie downs when securing equipment and cargo. The C8 has several deck options available that include Blackwood Pro (full or outer deck) and Rough Oak. The C8 in this video is optioned with treated Yellow Pine. The 83” wide deck easily accommodates wider vehicles and equipment. This trailer is also equipped with removable steel-fenders which make side-loading a snap. The C8 is equipped with upgraded, 3” crossmembers on 12" centers which provide additional frame and deck strength for heavy vehicles or equipment. The running gear has three 7K Dexter Axles on a spring suspension with electric brakes. This gives the C8 a 21,000 lb. GVWR. This trailer has multiple tail options available. This one is optioned with a 3 ½ ft. dovetail with two Monster Ramps.
