This week’s trailer is a 16’ 6” Channel Equipment Tilt (T6). This trailer requires no ramps, gates, or electric components to operate. The T6 is equipped with an easy to use hydraulic cylinder and proportioning valve. This trailer’s simple tilting controls and 15,680 lb. GVWR make it perfect for quickly loading medium sized vehicles or equipment. We offer the T6 in various lengths from 16 feet to 24 feet. Each is equipped with an ultra-wide, 82” deck inside the fenders. This is great for wide equipment like skid steers or tractors with a wide wheelbase. This trailer is outfitted with an HD 25,000 lb. 2 5/16 gooseneck coupler with a 7-way, all-weather plug with dual contacts. This coupler speeds up hitching with its self-centering, locking plate that provides an additional 1” of tolerance when lining up the ball. To further speed up hitching, this T6 is equipped with two Pro-Series 12K jacks with spring-loaded drop-legs for simple and easy retraction. This trailer comes standard with a tough, front-mounted, locking toolbox. This T6 is customized with a 9,500 lb. winch above the toolbox. We have also added a winch-roller at the front of the tilting deck. This eliminates frictional wear and tear by reducing contact between the winch cable and edge of the deck when loading and unloading. The T6 is built on a robust 6” channel-frame with 3” channel crossmembers on 16” centers. This trailer’s versatile, ultra-low, 21” deck height and 11° load-angle also allows you to load small-wheeled and low-clearance vehicles like scissor and forklifts. The T6’s running gear consists of two, 7K Dexter Torsion Axles and removable, steel, diamond-plate fenders. The Torflex suspension features a forged torsion arm that both dampens trailer flex and increases frame rigidity. The rear of this trailer is equipped with a 30” diamond-plate, knife-edge tail that provides an 11° angle for loading equipment with low ground clearance like scissor lifts or mini excavators.
